I have a four-year-old and a two-year-old currently at the Ivy Academy. Would initially drew us to the program was it’s flexibility with part-time schedules. That was really important to us and they were able to accommodate right away. Currently my children’s teachers are Miss Maria and Mr. Alex. Both my kids love going to school and talk about all the friends they’re making. A couple of times they have called me if my kids were not feeling well and I feel like they take care of them like they’re their own until I’m able to pick them up.

FAQ

What is your illness policy?

For the health and safety of all children and staff, we require that children be fever-free for at least 24 hours without medication before returning. If a child vomits three times or has diarrhea, they must be sent home. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a healthy environment.

What is your safety protocol?

Safety procedures vary depending on the situation. In the event of a fire, all children are evacuated through the back of the playground to designated emergency exits. Each classroom has clearly posted evacuation signs and maps showing safe routes and exit locations. Staff are trained regularly to ensure swift and calm execution of all emergency plans.

Who is allowed to pick up my child?

Only individuals listed on your child’s emergency contact form are authorized for pickup. If someone else needs to pick up your child, we require a phone call or written notice in advance. All individuals must present a valid form of ID at pickup.

What is your educational philosophy?

We believe in nurturing the whole child—intellectually, emotionally, and socially—through play-based learning, creative exploration, and personalized attention.

Do you offer summer programs?

Yes! Our Summer Camp features exciting adventures and themed activities that make learning fun all summer long.
